If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, book a hotel room nearby and eat at a fancy restaurant. Vacations don’t need to be so out of the way. Besides, you wouldn’t want to go through the stress of planning a trip and dealing with jetlag. All you need is within your reach!

Staycationing means less carbon footprint. You wouldn’t have to travel so much, so you wouldn’t use transportation that has lots of greenhouse emissions. If you do choose to travel a little bit, you’ll be supporting the local economy because you will only be consuming goods and services available close by.
